Aluminum is strong, so frames can be slim and the glass area large, with a clean, minimal look. It comes in many colors and finishes and is easy to maintain. It usually costs more than uPVC and needs a thermal break to insulate well.

Aluminum or uPVC?
Both materials make good windows. They differ in strength, price and how much glass you get, so the right choice depends on your project.
uPVC
uPVC insulates well on its own and is easy to maintain. It usually costs less than aluminum. The profile is thicker, so very large openings need extra care and very small ones lose some glass area.

Window colors
Our uPVC windows get their color from decorative films laminated onto the profile: 49 finishes, from white and solid colors to matte, woodgrain and metallic. Aluminum windows come in 35 colors and wood finishes.
